EMERALD CUT ROCK SPRINGS
2-2.5 HOUR GUIDED TOUR | 2.6 MILES
paddle board adventure
Named for its crystal-clear waters, the Emerald Cut section of Rock Springs Run winds through sections of lush jungle-like nature, breathtaking emerald water, and sandy bottom beneath your paddle as you explore this tropical oasis in the heart of Central Florida.
Rock Springs Run is one of two designated Wild and Scenic Rivers in the state of Florida, part of the complex ecological system of the Wekiva River Basin. This spring fed river supports a myriad of bird and wildlife watching opportunities to include river otters, deer, turtles and maybe even an alligator along the way.
The Rock Spring Run Emerald Cut Tour runs daily, offering several times throughout the day to fit your adventure needs. The first half of the tour we begin paddling upstream against the current, paddling over and under trees and through the twists and turns of the river until we reach the bridge at Kelly Park. The second half of the tour, we will sit back and go with the flow as the current takes us back to the launch point.
